about

I had felt like a total outcast, a complete misfit. (well actually I still do but...) One day I went to Japantown to look at music magazines which I've enjoyed in the past and it suddenly hit me like a ton of bricks! There is a world that not only get's what I do but LOVES it! Now there are some minor differences between the Visual Kei and J-rock bands and The Bleeder Project but for the first time I felt like there was a place in the world where I could feel somewhat at home. So much has made sense to me in a different way since then. hide (hee-day) along with the other members of his original band X-Japan, was not only one of the greatest of but also one of the very creators of Visual Kei (which I have since molded my own version of into VisPunk) The first time I ever heard this song I knew The Bleeder Project had to do a version of it. It's so perfectly "bleeder"! I also wanted to pay tribute to hide who died an untimely death in 1997. He has been sadly missed by fans world wide and I hope in my own way to keep the memory and respect for his greatness alive by paying tribute to him and his music in this way. This is to date the only cover song I've ever released. Thank you hide you will be missed forever!

about

Gabriel Scott San Francisco, California

From out of San Francisco’s post apocoliptic Tenderloin district, crawls a troubled, shadow dwelling cybernetic misfit, mutating rapidly under the radiotoxic glow of the cities dim chemical fog. A fallen angel leading lost spirits in a chorus of cries back through the horrors of a sorrid past, toward a fledgeling faith in the possibilities the future may still hold. ... more
